Black Rock Crafted Pale Ale is a moderately bittered, refreshing straw coloured ale. Supplemented with enhancing malts and wheat to produce a beautifully balanced beer. Best when dry hopped with your favourite aromatic varieties.

We highly recommend using dry hopping practices during fermentation on this kit to get crafty hop aroma and flavour. It is recommended to dry hop on day 2, to assist with getting a good haze.

New England Hazy Pale Ale: Use Citra, Mosaic and/or Amarillo for a juicy, tropical fruit aroma
West Coast Hazy Pale Ale: Use Simcoe, Centennial and/or Cascade for a balance blend of pine, citrus and floral notes
Australian Hazy Pale Ale: Use Galaxy, Vic Secret and/or Enigma for intense passionfruit, peach and citrus flavours
New Zealand Hazy Pale Ale: Use Nelson Sauvin, Motueka and/or Riwaka for a unique blend of tropical fruit and lime notes
Tropical Hazy Pale Ale: Use El Dorado, Azacca and/or Sabro for a burst of pineapple, mango and coconut flavours
Citrus Hazy Pale Ale: Use Lemondrop, Mandarina Bavaria and/or Sorachi Ace for a zesty citrus punch
Black Rock Crafted Lager is gold in appearance with a lacey head, the aroma of light malts is pleasant, and the body has good malt weight. A refreshing lager with good maltiness and moderate bitterness on the finish, quaffable and refreshing.

The Black Rock Classic IPA is brewed with Ale and Lager malts with Caramalt and roasted specialty malts for a rich golden colour. NZ Green Bullet and Pacific Gem hops are added during the boil to provide a moderate-strong bitterness.
