Black Rock Crafted BIB Pale Ale
Black Rock Crafted Pale Ale is a moderately bittered, refreshing straw coloured ale. Supplemented with enhancing malts and wheat to produce a beautifully balanced beer. Best when dry hopped with your favourite aromatic varieties.
Change the brew volume to alter your ABV and IBU (approx. values below):
- 18L – ABV 6.8%. IBU 38
- 20L – ABV 6.1%, IBU 35
- 23L – ABV 5.3%, IBU 30
- 25L – ABV 4.9%, IBU 28
We highly recommend using dry hopping practices during fermentation on this kit to get crafty hop aroma and flavour. It is recommended to dry hop after 5-7days, depending on fermentation.
Suggested hop additions:
- Australian Pale Ale: Use Galaxy and/or Cascade
- New Zealand Pale Ale: Use Nelson Sauvin and/or Nectaron, Riwaka
- American Pale Ale: Use Citra and/or Centennial, El Dorado, Idaho 7
